Under her leadership, the club establishes and maintains high standards for training, accountability, and sisterhood.
“Training never stops!"
Coach Jess
Jessica Elliott was first introduced to shooting in 2024 for self-defense and quickly discovered a passion that led her into competitive shooting. Since then, she has competed in over 50 matches, traveling throughout the DMV, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Ohio, Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina to challenge herself across a variety of stages and conditions.
Before stepping into the shooting world, Jessica competed in powerlifting, where she built the discipline and mental toughness she now brings to the range. She’s committed to continuous growth and is passionate about helping other women feel empowered both on and off the range.
Coach Ken
Coach Ken is a mother from Maryland, an occupational therapist, and one who believes in strength; mentally and physically. As “Quiet Storm,” I carry myself with calm focus but train with purpose. What began as a friend encouraging me to get my carry permit quickly turned into a passion for responsible firearm ownership and preparedness. Today, I stand for empowered women who are trained, confident, and ready to protect what matters most.
“Quiet on the surface, powerful in purpose. The Quiet Storm trains not out of fear, but out of love for the family she protects.”
Coach Meeks
Coach Meeks is a Washington native, firefighter and passionate firearms coach who is dedicated to helping women feel confident, capable, and safe in a space created just for them. She discovered her love for firearms just before the pandemic and brings a mix of discipline, encouragement, personality and a little tough love to every session. She is big on making it home daily. Outside of coaching, she enjoys music, fitness, crafting and precision-based hobbies. She carries that same attention to detail into every training, making sure each woman leaves feeling stronger, prepared, and empowered.
Coach Sha(y)
I’m a passionate outdoor enthusiast and shooting sports newcomer who thrives on trying new challenges and pushing past comfort zones. Whether I’m hiking rugged trails, camping under the stars, cycling long distances, or competing in adventure races, I’m always chasing growth and connection with the outdoors. As a beginner shooter, I embrace the learning process and enjoy building confidence and skill step by step. I’m especially driven to teach, uplift, and encourage others—especially women—to step out boldly, try something new, and discover what they’re capable of.
Coach Cookie
I’m a healthcare representative, proud mom of three adult children and an avid camper and hiker. I value discipline, awareness, and staying prepared. I move with intention, professionalism, and confidence in everything I do. Surrounding myself with women who elevate and empower. 🩷
“Stay ready, stay focused—always on target. 🩷”
“Strong women don’t just carry—they carry themselves with purpose. 🩷”
“Pretty, precise, and always on target. ❤️”
Coach Mo
Monique is a relatively new shooter who also enjoys cycling. She believes confidence is built through both challenge and community. As a woman in the firearms world, she is committed to safe, responsible gun ownership while encouraging other women to feel comfortable and empowered in the sport. Monique looks forward to helping create welcoming spaces where women can ask questions, build skills, and gain confidence with firearms at their own pace.
Coach Dovie
Dovie, also known as "Lovie Dovie" I stepped into the world of shooting in 2012, and it quickly became more than a hobby. It became my therapy and space to breathe. But the gifts don't stop at the range. I'm an Artist at heart. I pour my creativity into making sweets treats, such as chocolate-covered strawberries to rice krispies with unique flavors. To make edible art.
"Skill isn't given, it's earned one shot at a time."
Instructor Lea
Lea “LDB” Douglin has been a firearms instructor since 2019, serving as a range safety officer, coach, and training specialist for law-enforcement. Knowing how intimidating some may find firearms, she brings patience, situational awareness, and a love for helping people learn a new and valuable skill.
